Splendid facities; vbery friendly staff and owners; located in fine countryside, yet not far from nearest town; located on main road which could be a little noisy

The Proprietor and his wife were very helpful and friendly, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast (full english) was very good along with the homemade marmalade
A small reservation was that the carpet in the room looked very old and worn and smelt dusty. Also the room really was very small for what they were charging us though as this was the bank holiday and a last minute booking I guess it was all they had left

There were many good things about Churchview Guest House. We were given a warm welcome on arrival and everything was clearly explained . The place had old fashioned charm and there was attention to detail such as daily replenished snacks including chocolate in our room. Our bathroom was very well appointed. There were several lounges we could use stocked with all the leaflets and books that one needed to explore the area. The breakfasts were really excellent with ample choice and the tables were numbered according to which room you were in. They changed our table after a few days for a change a scenery. The Guest House is on a main road but there is adequate parking and the noise of the road disappears once one enters the house. There are pretty gardens.

Nice welcome on arrival. Small but very well appointed room and facilities. Very quiet in spite of being close to the main coast road. No parking problems. Excellent breakfast with very attentive service in pleasant dining area. Homemade marmalade very good.

The breakfasts are very good.
It is on a very busy main road and the noise in our room at the front of the house was awful. It all needs upgrading in terms of decor etc.

The excellent freshly cooked breakfast
It's not a question of "not like" - I chose it as a single lady traveller on business based on the information on your website and it wasn't suitable for my purpose. My main issue is that I booked this accommodation so that I could have an evening meal on site as advised on your website. On arrival I was advised that they do not serve evening meals. Breakfast is served 8.15 to 8.45 which makes it a very late start for business people especially as there is a considerable wait when there are several guests all to be served in this half hour slot and breakfast is freshly cooked. It was a pity that time pressure spoiled my enjoyment of this excellently cooked meal.

This is a very comfortable guest house the owners, Mr and Mrs Deller, are welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is of a high standard and nothing is too much trouble for the owners. I enjoyed my stay at Churchview Guest House and would thoroughly recommend it.

The owners, Michael and Jane, are lovely friendly welcoming people. The location is lovely, the accomodation is very quaint, a proper English guest house.
